Upper Hopton CC 2nd XI
Upper Hopton CC have always had a tradition of strong 2nd XIs and while our current league position may not reflect this that does not tell the entire story.
The UHCC 2nd XI has, for a number of years, been producing a large number of talented young cricketers thanks to the opportunities given to Juniors at the club. The 1st XI has benefited greatly from this crop of young talent and the results over the past few years have reflected this. This years 2nd XI includes a number of future prospects and with Juniors from our Under 15s and 17s holding down regular places in the side the future looks bright for the club.
That is not to say that experience players are not welcome. Quite the opposite as both our 1st and 2nd XI are always on the lookout for players with experience.
