Upper Hopton Cricket Club
Club History
Founded in 1904 Upper Hopton Cricket Club recently celebrated its centenery and continues to thrive to this day. This season sees a record number of Junior teams fielded by Upper Hopton with teams entered into every age group from Under 9 to Under 17.

Samantha Shilton
Sam has joined the club as part of her final year studies at The University of Huddersfield. Studying for a degree in Sports Journalism, Sam has agreed to write a number of pieces about the club and it's members for her final year practical project.
Throughout her placement, which ends in May, Sam will be writing player profiles and articles about all aspects of the club. All of these articles will appear here over the coming weeks.
