Junior Cricket

Welcome to the Junior Cricket section of the Upper Hopton Cricket Club web site.

With teams in 5 age groups Upper Hopton has something to offer children of any age with our youngest players only 6 or 7 years old. Below are details of each age group as well as links to fixture lists, results and contacts if you would like more information.

Junior training starts at 6pm on Tuesday evenings with Under-17s training on Thursday's with our senior players.

Under 17s

The UHCC Under 17s play in the Halifax Junior Cricket League on a Monday night and train with the Senior sides on a Thursday at 6:30pm.

Under 15s

The Upper Hopton Under 15s play on a Wednesday night in the Halifax Junior Cricket League and train on Tuesdays at the club. Junior practice starts at 6pm.

Under 13s

UHCC Under 13s play in the Huddersfield Junior Cricket League on Sunday mornings. Training is held on Tuesdays along with the majority of the Junior sides.

The Upper Hopton CC Under 11s play on Sunday mornings as part of the Huddersfield Junior Cricket League.

The Parents

A huge thank you, as always, must go to the parents of our Junior cricketers. Without their help and support Upper Hopton would not be able to run the number of Junior teams that it does year in and year out.
