Upper Hopton CC Under 11s
Despite only 2 wins in 12 games this years Under 11s showed a great deal of promise, and, as most of the team is not just under 11 but under 9 and 10 they will only improve on the foundations laid this year.
Playing pairs cricket, where players bat in pairs for a set number of overs, gives everyone a chance to play the game and leads to better all around young cricketers. This really begins to show as the players progress through Under 13s and 15s level and as such Under 11s is a great time to get kids involved in cricket.
