Upper Hopton CC Under 17s
Upper Hopton CC Under 17s play their games on a Monday evening as part of the Halifax Junior Cricket League.
The 17s were the last winners of the Armitage Cup before it was changed to the Under 15 age group and perform well year in and year out, weather permitting.
The Under 17s usually train with the Senior sides on a Thursday at the ground on Jackroyd Lane.
Playing as part of the Under 17s gives great opportunities in Senior cricket as both Senior sides often use Junior players and with a number of Under 17s and 15s holding down regular Senior places the Juniors are always well represented on a weekend.
